Initial connection ishttps://www.google.ca/accounts/....Login provided and rolling over to mail interfacehttps://mail.google.com/mail/....This is after correcting the user settingsBrowser connection: = Always use httpsBy default, it was set to "Don't always use https" so when I logged in, it flipped over to raw http. Why the default was not globally updated to default security; I don't know. Seems that setting fixes it though.As Michael mentioned, your back into plain text once the traffice hits the Google reverse proxy as everything behind it may be wide open.In general, your banking buddies should reconsider the decision to use Google Mail and Google Apps for sensative information since it is involving an unauthenticated third party in the mix and relinquishing control of all Google hosted data. (EULA states; "all your data are belonging to us" and they don't actually delete anything, just remove it from your view)
