The indicators show SSL during the entire session! The "s" and the padlock! But someone told me the whole journey is not, in fact, encrypted.Some google routers and servers along the route tend to drop the SSL and transmit it in the clear for part of/rest of the trip. I'm sure it wasn't the Army in Iraq that discovered this. I will just have to look back on my discussions and try to find it, but I've been exceedingly busy lately.
